Victoria Day In Canada

It was Victoria day today in Canada. The Sovereign's birthday has been celebrated in Canada since the reign of Queen Victoria. After Confederation, the Queen's birthday was celebrated every year on May 24 unless the date falls on Sunday, in which case a proclamation was issued providing for the celebration on May 25. Don't actually know why it's being celebrated this early.

We had pretty good small bbq party with few friends. The bbq marinaded in Italian Dressing was really good. But I tried not to eat too much because I might have another heartburn..lols.. Hubby will bring the kids in Canada's Wonderland (about 15 minutes drive from our house) to watch the Fireworks later tonight. I feel so tired so I'd rather stay at home. I have one tag to do, and I will just do it tomorrow. Happy Victoria Day to Canada.
