Our Travel Plans

Me, my kids and hubby were having a travel conversation last night. Hubby want's us to go to Vancouver, Canada on year 2010 to watch the winter olympics but me and the kids wants to go either to California or Italy. But hubby insists that watching the winter olympic in Canada is once in a life time. Vancouver is part of Canada but we have to fly to get there and spend money for the hotel too. So it doesn't make much difference with regards to travel expenses if we will have a vacation outside Canada.

We were talking about this in preparation of the expenses so we will know how much money do we need for traveling. Next year, our plan is to go either go to New Jersey or California. One travel a year is enough for us to enjoy our travel dreams, but it will still depend on the budget. We sometimes cannot predict what emergency expenses we might face that can ruin the budget. But it is still good to prepare ahead of time.
