Making A Business Out Of It

The supplier of my product's ingredients in Canada is going to have a big sale promotion on Saturday. I almost purchased some of the ingredients that I want to buy last week until I received their invitation. I want to create new scents and flavors on my Facial Care and Body Bath Products, so I will need few ingredients. I want to play with new scents and flavors for my products.

I am actually not the one making my cosmetics bases. I buy it from my supplier here in Canada. The cosmetics bases is raw and it was really made for hobbyist like me, to add scents and flavors to make it my own. I find it really fun to play around with the scents and flavors of the cosmetic bases. However there is a limit on the amount of Essential oil to be added, otherwise it can destabilize bonds between the ingredients. Me and my family use all of my products at home. My kids love it. Amazingly, my winter dry and itchy skin is gone by using my Body Butter.

But for my Mineral Makeup, I really do the formulation myself and buy most of the major ingredients from USA. I started following the Basic Mineral Makeup formula and then change some of the amount of the ingredients from the basic formula, according to my skin and make it my own. I love it.

I am planning to take another 2 to 3 days off again from work sometime next month because I want to make some changes on my website and add this new products that I will make.

I am so happy that I was able to combine two of the things that I love to do, web designing and cosmetics. And now making a business out of it. It feels great!! I hope and pray that someday I will be doing these on a fulltime basis... The question is WHENNNNNNN!!!!!
